The Impact of Fab Lab on Creativity and Innovation
Fab labs, short for fabrication laboratories, have gained popularity in recent years as hubs for creativity and innovation. These spaces provide students with access to advanced tools and technologies, allowing them to bring their ideas to life. In this survey titled 'Role of fab lab in creativity and innovation among students of a university', we aim to understand the extent to which fab labs contribute to the development of creativity and innovation.
To gather data for this survey, we have designed a series of 10 questions that cover various aspects related to fab labs and their impact on students. The questionnaire includes different question types such as single choice, multiple choice, and open-ended questions.
The survey begins by asking participants if they are familiar with the concept of a fab lab, followed by their prior experience in using one. We then delve into the activities participants have engaged in within fab lab settings, ranging from 3D printing to computer programming.
Next, we assess the perceived impact of fab labs on creativity and innovation, allowing participants to rate it on a scale from 'Very High' to 'Very Low'. Additionally, we investigate whether participants believe that fab labs play a crucial role in fostering creativity and innovation among students.
To gain insights into areas of improvement, participants are invited to share their suggestions on how fab labs can be enhanced to further support creativity and innovation. We also explore the frequency of fab lab utilization and its correlation with creative thinking abilities.
Furthermore, we inquire about any barriers participants may have encountered while using fab lab facilities, such as a lack of equipment availability or technical support. Their responses will help identify areas of improvement to ensure a seamless creative experience within these spaces.
Finally, participants are given the opportunity to showcase their creativity and innovation by sharing specific projects or experiences they have had in a fab lab setting.
